On March 7, the 2025 All About Connection conference with the theme of “Connection, Collaboration, Intelligent Manufacturing” was successfully concluded at the Shanghai International Sourcing Convention and Exhibition Center.
At the show, Brite-Line displayed its latest automotive harness tape products, including PVC, cloth-based and fleece tapes. Lilli Zhao, Director of Product Engineering, also delivered a speech titled “Revolutionary Process for Automotive Harness Tapes Version 3.0: UV/EB Green Curing Process”, which triggered a warm response from the audience. After the conference, many attendees went to the Brite-Line booth to learn more about the details of the tapes produced using the UV/EB process.
UV/EB curing technology is an innovative process that utilizes ultraviolet light (UV curing) and electron beams (EB curing) as energy sources to induce rapid curing and cross-linking of chemically active materials. The technology provides an integrated solution that ensures that each production step is carried out in an efficient and orderly manner, resulting in high performance, reliable products. The curing speed is extremely fast, as fast as 0.05-0.1 seconds, enabling it to meet the needs of large-scale automated production lines. In addition, the technology significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions and natural gas consumption, and no solvent is used in the production process, which can significantly reduce VOCs emissions, truly realizing green manufacturing and sustainable development.
This year’s conference attracted more than 100 enterprises and more than 3,500 participants, with an exhibition area of 5,000 square meters, focusing on the whole industry chain of automotive connectivity technology, covering material research and development, design optimization and manufacturing process upgrading and other aspects, bringing together the leading enterprises in the automotive wiring harness industry chain.
Looking ahead, Brite-Line will continue to introduce more automotive wiring harness tapes with both technological and environmental characteristics, promoting the development of automotive wiring harness tapes in a greener and more efficient direction.
